Last week at St Mark’s

On Sunday, we celebrated the Feast of Pentecost with people from every Continent except Australia.

Acts Chapter two was read to us in Italian, Esan, English, Swahili, Spanish, and German, by 6 people in the congregagtion, who come from around the world (whilst we could read it in English).

Father Chris spoke to us about the importance of the ‘breath’ of God, the ‘air or wind of the Holy Spirit’,
using a balloon, bicycle pump, a candle and a person.

We need to thank God for the Gift of his Holy Spirit and allow the breath of God to breath new life into us and empower us anew.

Check out our Services and Events page for what’s coming up next week…
